Applications--

Bar Sugar dissolves much faster than ordinary crystal sugar, it is significant in special applications. It is ideal for textured cakes and meringues, as well as for sweetening fruits and iced-drinks. In fact, this sugar makes most vegetables
taste better, and it also keeps them green when they are
cooked. Bar Sugar is an
important ingredient in most stir-fries, as it brings out
innate flavors.

1 cup = 200 grams
1 teaspoon = 4 grams
1tablespoon= 12 grams

4 cups

It is also used in manufacture of confections, desserts, sweetmeats, cake mixes, puddings, and powdered drink bases.
Add bar sugar to tomato ketchup
to produce an enhanced flavor by balancing the
natural acidity of the tomatoes. Blend a portion
of bar sugar with water and brush it over
chicken before roasting to lock in the juices.
When you make jams & fruit
preserves, use
oven-warmed bar sugar to help the
fruit let go of its inherent juices for the jam
to set well.
It makes bread dough become
tender and gives bread a golden brown crust.
